Job description

Year 2 Class Teacher Required in Dulwich

A friendly and welcoming school in Dulwich is looking for a Year 2 class teacher to join them as soon as possible with employment being offered until Summer. 

This school is a two-form entry primary school located in Dulwich, with a strong ethos centered on high expectations for all pupils.

The school has a strong track record of performance across the board and takes great pride in its achievements. A focus on student wellbeing and ensuring that all children feel happy and supported is paramount, and is something visitors often comment on when they visit the school.

This role will require a Year 2 class teacher who brings a positive attitude and can provide consistency and care for the class until the end of the academic year. You will have access to weekly PPA time to plan and prepare lessons, and you’ll be supported by a dedicated teaching assistant in delivering creative and engaging lessons.

The successful candidate will have:

  • UK qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Recent teaching experience within the last 10 years
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to differentiate content for pupils with SEND
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Proficiency in using formative and summative assessments to maximise pupil progress
