• Start date – February half term
• Full time, Monday-Friday
• Rate of pay £100-£140 P/D (depending on experience)

A popular school within the Blackburn area is seeking to recruit a full time Year 2 class teacher. This position is currently temporary until the end of term (July 2025), however, there is a possibility of permanent role.

The Role:

The role is to deliver engaging lessons within a Key Stage 1 setting, following the National Curriculum. The Head Teachers has very high learning standards for all pupils within the schools.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate should:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Prior experience of teaching KS1
• Experience of assessments and requirements
• Have recent experience within a Primary School setting
• Possess extensive knowledge of the curriculum
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of phonics schemes
• Be of a caring, positive, and nurturing nature
• Able to demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
• Approach their day to day work with enthusiasm and a clear will to better themselves

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
