Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with a passion for helping young children develop a love for learning? We are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team in Fareham, starting in January 2025.

The Role:

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will inspire a love of learning in your students, helping them to develop essential skills and knowledge as they begin their journey through Key Stage 1. You will work closely with a dedicated and supportive team, creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment where each child is supported to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Foster a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and growth.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with additional learning needs.
• Regularly monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, creating a collaborative and supportive school community.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with educational best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Year 1 or in Key Stage 1 (desirable but not essential).
• A passion for working with young children and a commitment to fostering their love for learning.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A team player with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
