Welsh-Speaking Supply Primary Teacher
Location: Cardiff
Position Type: Supply/Flexible
Salary: £165 a day

About the Role: We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Welsh-medium Primary Teachers to provide high-quality teaching and support to primary schools across Cardiff on a supply basis. As part of your role, you’ll deliver engaging lessons, inspire young learners, and support the development of Welsh language skills across the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the National Curriculum through the medium of Welsh in a variety of Cardiff schools.
- Adapt to different teaching environments, ensuring consistency in lesson quality.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for pupils.
- Provide a high level of classroom management and support where required.
- Contribute to the development of Welsh language skills and the cultural life of the school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Fluent Welsh speaker (essential to work in Welsh medium schools).
- Experience in delivering the primary curriculum, ideally through the medium of Welsh.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to various school settings on short notice.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one (we can help with this).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
