Our partner school in the Cardiff area is actively searching for a dedicated Vulnerable Pupil Mentor to provide essential support to students in a Specialist School environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the emotional well-being and behavioral needs of vulnerable pupils who have experienced significant trauma.
- Work closely with students in both group and one-on-one settings, offering tailored assistance based on their individual requirements.
- Develop personalized plans each week that address the emotional and educational development of the pupils.
- Collaborate with school staff to understand the backgrounds and unique needs of each child.
- Maintain consistency and a long-term commitment to foster a supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students who have well-being and behavioral needs.
- A compassionate approach and the ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs.
- A commitment to the long-term success and stability of pupils in the school.
Position Details:
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday.
- Immediate start required.
- Daily rate of £83.85.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
