Unqualified Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruting for Learning Support Assistants to work in a vibrant and friendly school committed to providing a supportive learning environment for all pupils. The Role:
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the KS2 team within the school. The successful candidate will support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and supporting whole class teaching to prepare them for year 6. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the children are engaged and able to work as independent learners with your guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide small group intervention to support children's maths and literacy in the morning,
- Assist in the delivery of educational healthcare plans (EHCPs.) and differentiated learning activities.
- Support pupils in developing essential skills, such as communication, social interaction, and independence,
- Assist with classroom management, including supporting positive behavior and helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to further enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN support.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs and a commitment to inclusive education. You should possess:
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A flexible and adaptable attitude, with the ability to respond to the varying needs of students.
- A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or special educational needs is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
