Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced tutors to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a high level of experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be willing to work around 10-15 hours per week on a part-time basis. The role requires patience and a focus on delivering tuition in maths, English, and science subjects.

Job Duties:

  • Provide tailored educational support to students with SEN in maths, English, and science subjects
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification in education or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • A degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of the UK education system
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Experience in using assistive technology in teaching
  • Experience working with students with specific learning difficulties

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours, around 10-15 hours per week
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Flexible schedule based on student availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
