Job description

Ready to embark on a new teaching journey out of the classroom and into your own hands with 1:1 tuition.

Are you a dedicated and passionate Teacher who is looking to make a real impact on a child’s education?  Do you want to step away from a busy classroom environment whilst still helping pupils unlock their academic goals?

 If so then 1:1 tuition may be the solution, enabling you to take control of your own schedule and work hours. Not only will the transition help with your professional growth but will allow you to empower student’s by proving them with customised learning suited to their needs.

Currently we are seeking 1-1 English and Maths Tutors in Northampton and the surrounding areas to work up to GCSE level, start date is immediate or can be flexible based on availability.

The role

  • Providing 1:1 support in core subjects (Maths, English or Primary)
  • Planning individualised programmes of learning
  • Tutoring within the home environment
  • Work with varied ages and abilities
  • Support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Full time & part time hours available
  • Stable workload – our roles are often required on an ongoing basis

What you will need:

  • QTS or minimum two years teaching experience
  • Experience with primary or secondary aged children
  • Enthusiastic, engaging & friendly.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
