Are you a Fully Qualified Teacher, Higher Level Teaching Assistant or SEN specialist who is falling out of love with the classroom but still has a passion for teaching and supporting young people? Then you should consider 1:1 tutoring!
Instead of juggling the needs of a full classroom you are able to adapt your educational approach to the individual needs of the pupil and really make a difference in their learning!
I currently require 1:1 Maths and English tutors in Coventry and the surrounding areas. This can start immediately or work around your start date availability. Please do get in touch if you are interested! A QTS is desirable for the role or minimum of two years teaching experience.
WHAT A 1:1 TUTOR ROLE ENTAILS:
- Control over your schedule: At TP, you have the power to accept as much or as little work as you want; giving you the control over how many hours you’d like to work each week
- Less paperwork: We have a bespoke learning platform called LEAP, where you log all your session reports, upload resources into one concise neat report!
- Make a real difference: With our 1:1 tutoring, you can create a real change in our young people’s lives; helping them bridge gaps in their learning and grow in confidence!
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU AS A TUTOR WITH US:
- We are a national company so you will have access to an increased volume of tuition work. Once registered you will have a dedicated consultant who will explain how tuition works and how your journey will look with TP tutors.
- Face to face and online tuition options available to suit your availability with tuition available during the school day or after school.
- Referrals to support primary, secondary and post 16 aged students with subject specific areas. Children may be in a mainstream setting, special educational needs or alternate provision setting or without a school place and fall under the local authority awaiting a suitable school place.
- Bespoke online reporting platform- 24/7 access to enable you to log immediate attendance details, feedback and assessments.
- Online classroom platform- to enable you to deliver online tuition to students in a virtual environment. This platform offers all the tools you will require to deliver online tuition and is recorded for safeguarding purposes and for revision purposes.
- Hourly rate of £25- £30 which is paid weekly
- Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.
WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR A TUTOR WORKING WITH TP:
- The right to work in the UK.
- QTS is desirable but not essential.
- Two years minimum teaching experience
- Have a DBS already on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new application.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
