Are you passionate about helping students with special educational needs (SEN) achieve their full potential? TP Tutors is looking for dedicated tutors in the Poole area to provide personalized support and make a meaningful difference in students' lives.

Role Overview:

  • Subject Focus: Provide 1:1 support to SEN students in Maths, English, and Sciences.
  • Flexible Tutoring Options: Offer sessions in-person or online, accommodating tutoring at schools or homes.
  • Customized Learning Plans: Develop and implement tailored learning strategies to meet each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and report on student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: QTS/PGCE certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with SEN students is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of the KS2, KS3, and KS4 curriculum, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and needs.
  • Background Check: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo a check).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
