Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and creative textiles lessons to students, fostering a love for the subject.
• Plan, prepare, and mark coursework, ensuring students make excellent progress.
• Support students in developing practical skills and understanding of textiles techniques.
• Work closely with the Design & Technology department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
• Monitor and assess student achievement, providing constructive feedback to support individual growth.
• Inspire and motivate students to excel in their studies and develop a passion for the subject.

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience in teaching textiles at secondary school level.
• Strong subject knowledge with a creative approach to lesson delivery.
• Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• A commitment to student progress and a willingness to plan and mark work in line with the school’s expectations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
