Teaching Assistant Roles - Bournemouth Schools

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is excited to announce multiple opportunities for Teaching Assistants to join various schools in Bournemouth starting this September. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of students. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives and gain valuable experience in the education sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering lessons, providing support to students during class activities, and helping to manage classroom behavior.
  • One-on-One Assistance: Work closely with individual students who require additional support, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Small Group Work: Lead small group sessions to reinforce learning, provide targeted support, and help students with specific challenges.
  • Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Monitoring Progress: Track and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to student reports.
  • Encouraging Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and engagement.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Support school activities and events, contributing to the wider school community.
