Teaching Assistant (SEN)
Location: Cardiff and Penarth

Pay: From £83.85 per day
Are you passionate about supporting the development of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you thrive in a dynamic and varied working environment? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across multiple SEN schools in the Cardiff and Penarth area.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs, helping them achieve their potential in both academic and personal development.
- Variety of settings: Work across multiple SEN schools, gaining diverse experience.

- Collaborative support: Work closely with experienced educators and SEN specialists.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students, adapting to their individual needs.
- Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils with personal care and life skills when required.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, communicating effectively with staff and parents.
Requirements
- A calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
