Secondary Teaching Assistant - S35

About the Role
We are looking for a full-time teaching assistant to support learning across KS3 and KS4. This role involves working closely with teachers and students, helping to create a positive and productive classroom environment. Assignments can range from short-term to long-term positions, offering flexibility and valuable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Classroom Activities: Assist the teacher in delivering lessons, helping students stay focused and engaged.
  • Provide One-to-One Support: Work with individual students or small groups to support their specific learning needs.
  • Help Manage Behavior: Assist in maintaining a calm and structured classroom atmosphere.
  • Contribute to Learning Plans: Collaborate with the teacher to adapt lessons and resources to meet diverse student needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced or Aspiring TA: Previous experience or a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
  • Patient and Supportive: Able to work with students of varying abilities and needs, providing encouragement and guidance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
