Support Students with SEMH Needs – Teaching Assistant Roles in Lincoln

Are you passionate about helping children overcome challenges and thrive in education? Teaching Personnel is seeking compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistants to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in primary and SEN schools across Lincoln.

We have rewarding opportunities starting in January for individuals who can provide the care and encouragement students need to succeed academically and personally.

What the Role Involves:

  • Providing individual and small-group support for students with SEMH challenges.
  • Assisting teachers in managing behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting students’ emotional development and helping them build resilience.
  • Working collaboratively with staff to create tailored strategies for success.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children who have SEMH needs or display challenging behaviour.
  • A calm and patient approach, with a focus on building positive relationships.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • An understanding of safeguarding practices in schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
