Job description

Teaching Personnel is seeking Teaching Assistants in the Wimborne area to support our Primary Schools with both day-to-day and long-term cover.

Do you have experience working with children or vulnerable adults? Are you seeking a role where you can impact not just an individual but an entire class? Or perhaps you're an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a change of scenery and a new challenge?

Teaching Personnel work in several ways:

  • Ad-hoc/bank TA's - booked out on a day to day or prebooked basis for short-term sickness cover. 
  • Short-term - 1-5 Days a week for up to 10 weeks.
  • Long-term - 1-5 days a week for over 10 weeks.
  • Temp-to-Perm - 20 week hire period working through us before transfering onto school contract. 

ROLE: Supply Teaching Assistant

START: Immediate (After Registration)

PAY: £84-£96 DOE

SCHOOL: Various Primary schools across Wimborne and surrounding.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with class teacher to ensure pupil engagement in curriculum.
  • Support clas teacher with administritive duties.
  • Work 1:1 with pupils who require more guidance and attention. 
  • Reporting any pupil progress to teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
