Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Full-Time Teaching Assistants to meet the growing needs of schools in Truro, Cornwall. Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Time Support: Provide consistent, full-time assistance to teachers across multiple schools in Truro, ensuring a stable and productive learning environment.
- 1-1 Assistance:Offer tailored support to individual students, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
- SEN Support: Work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting to their unique requirements and contributing to their educational progress.
- Classroom Assistance: Assist in the delivery of lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and support small group activities to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborative Work: Collaborate effectively with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other staff members to meet the diverse needs of students.
About You:
- Experience: Previous experience working with children, particularly in an educational or SEN setting, is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Commitment: A reliable individual who can commit to full-time work and meet the ongoing needs of multiple schools.
- -Qualifications:A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) is desirable but not essential. We welcome applicants with a passion for education and a willingness to learn.
- DBS Check: Must hold or be willing to obtain a DBS check on the update service.
