Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is partnering with a Good-rated school in Telford to find a dedicated intervention assistant for an immediate start. This position involves 1:1 support for a student with additional SEN needs, focusing on behavior management within a classroom.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting students who require help with behavior management.
- Conducting pastoral interventions for SEN and SEMH students.
- Working alongside the school SENCO to develop behavior support strategies.
- Ensuring all safeguarding measures are followed.
- Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and phonics is a plus.
You’ll be part of a passionate team that prioritizes the development of SEN students, collaborating closely with the SENCO and HLTAs.
Role Information:
- PAYE rates: £85 - £90 per day
- Weekly payment through school timesheets
- Located in Telford, convenient for local applicants
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday
- Immediate start following registration with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
