Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for potential educators who can step in to working as a Teaching Assistant in a local Secondary School.

What will I be doing?

  • Working alongside the teacher to help carry out their lesson plans
  • Providing one to one assistance to pupils that are struggling – whether that be due to a form of learning difficulties (like Dyslexia or ADHD), or pupils that struggle to keep up with the social aspect of school and need a different type of education to learn
  • Providing as good quality standard of mentorship to any pupil you are placed in a one to one with – by building a report and gaining their trust
  • Learning the inner workings of a school from the staff’s perspective

How do I get started?

Understandably – schools have to be very careful with the staff they take on, and we take this responsibility very seriously to ensure the ideal candidate is of top quality. All applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check and registration with the EWC.

You will be in touch with a consultant who will guide you through the recruitment process, ensuring that not only you are suitable for the position – but that the position is suitable for you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
