Teaching Assistant
Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team at a thriving primary school in Stoke. Rated 'Good' by Ofsted, our school boasts state-of-the-art facilities that create an inspiring environment for both students and staff.
In this rewarding role, you will support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, working one-on-one with students to enhance their learning, and helping to manage classroom behavior. You will also be involved in the planning and implementation of activities that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils, ensuring that each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. A good understanding of the primary curriculum and effective communication skills are essential. Qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate would be advantageous, but a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s education and development is the most important quality we seek.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
