Are you seeking a role where your impact truly matters? Teaching Personnel is actively collaborating with schools in the Scunthorpe area, addressing a significant demand for SEN Education Specialists.
Starting from September 24, as an SEN Education Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to engage directly with one young person, working on a 1-1 basis in mainstream primary schools. This role will allow you to tailor your approach to be 100% focused on the unique needs and requirements of the pupil. We are looking for individuals from diverse backgrounds, with varied experiences in connecting with young learners and supporting them in overcoming barriers to learning within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with children having SEN & SEMH needs.
- Engage young people facing a variety of barriers to their learning.
- Inspire hope for a better future.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year's childcare experience
- Commitment to and understanding of Safeguarding principles.
- Proven experience in engaging young people with complex and challenging behaviors.
- Availability for at least 4 days per week.
- Access to personal transportation, willing to travel within a 15-mile radius.
- Working hours align with school opening times (08:30-15:30), providing flexibility in working days to accommodate your schedule, occasionally limited to mornings or afternoons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
