Teaching Personnel – 1:1 Teaching Assistant Needed

We are looking for a strong minded, resilient, proactive individual to individually work in a 1:1 capacity in a flexible role, directly with an Autistic student who has challenging behavioural habits in Year 3 Primary. The location of the job is in Pontypool – NP4 area. This 1:1 Teaching Assistant hourly rate of £12.90 and we would expect you to start the role as soon as you are cleared through our company's vetting process.

• Previous experience working with ALN, SEN
• Have a nurturing and caring nature
• Invigorating methods of teaching and adaptability
• Possess proactive and patient habits
• High level communication and verbal skills
• Ability to maintain a positive and safe environment at all times

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience working in/outside of school in ALN or childcare setting 
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Certified in any Autism awareness course
• Passionate for the field

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
