About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a crucial role in the classroom, supporting both teachers and students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, particularly those who may need extra help.
• Supporting students with SEN (Special Educational Needs) to ensure they can access the curriculum effectively.
• Helping to create a positive learning environment by encouraging student engagement and participation.
• Supervising students during breaks and lunchtimes to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Assisting with administrative tasks and record-keeping as required.

Key Requirements:

• Experience working in UK primary schools is essential.
• Knowledge of KS1, KS2, or EYFS curriculum.
• Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) is highly advantageous.
• A Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a new one.
• Must be currently residing in the UK.
