Primary Teaching Assistants - Plymouth

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? We are seeking dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join our team in Plymouth. We offer a range of contract hours to suit your availability, including full-time, part-time, and flexible day-to-day supply roles.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a crucial role in the classroom, supporting both teachers and students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, particularly those who may need extra help.
- Supporting students with SEN (Special Educational Needs) to ensure they can access the curriculum effectively.
- Helping to create a positive learning environment by encouraging student engagement and participation.
- Supervising students during breaks and lunchtimes to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Assisting with administrative tasks and record-keeping as required.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working in UK primary schools is essential.
- Knowledge of KS1, KS2, or EYFS curriculum.
- Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) is highly advantageous.
- A Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a new one.
- Must be currently residing in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
