SEN Learning Support Assistant Needed - Peterlee
Location: Peterlee
Start Date: 6th January 2025
Pay: £90 - £100 per day
Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs in a classroom setting? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Classroom Learning Support Assistant to join our partner Primary scool and their SEN Hub Peterlee, working with learners from KS1 - KS2. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in providing tailored educational support to students within the SEN hub
- Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Offer one-on-one support to boost student confidence and independence.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Collaborate with staff to implement personalized learning plans.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to diverse learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
