Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking individuals who:

  • Are enthusiastic about working with children and young people.
  • Have experience supporting children in an educational or childcare setting (or are eager to gain experience).
  • Are empathetic, patient, and adaptable to the needs of different learners.
  • Have a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential).

Your Role as a Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in:

  • Classroom Support: Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom activities.
  • 1:1 or Group Support: Providing targeted support to individual students or small groups to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Inclusive Learning: Working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL).
  • Building Relationships: Creating a positive and supportive environment for students, helping them to build confidence and motivation.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
