Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: NP11
Hours: 8:30 – 3:30 (Monday – Friday)
Pay: £83.85 minimum per day
Start Date: September 2024


Teaching Personnel is thrilled to announce a position for a Teaching Assistant in a local primary school within the NP11 area. We provide regular and flexible work options, offering both short-term and long-term assignments in primary schools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
  • Student Development: Create an engaging and nurturing environment to help young children develop social and emotional skills.
  • Instructional Assistance: Help children with basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the daily operations of the school.
  • One-on-One Assistance: Provide individualised support to students requiring additional help.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Punctual & Professional: Reliable and dedicated to maintaining a professional demeanour.
  • Passionate About Education: A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Career Growth: Interested in progressing through the career ladder with opportunities for further training, such as our Cover Supervisor courses.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to Work in the UK: (Passport or Birth Certificate)
  • Proof of Address: (Driving License, Utility Bill, or Bank Statement)
  • References: Valid referee details (Character references accepted if no prior work experience)
  • Child-Only DBS: (We can assist you in obtaining this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
