Teaching Assistant  

Are you passionate about supporting children to make a strong start to their learning in early years? This may be the role for you! An excellent primary school in Salford are recruiting for a KS2 TA. This school, rated as ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted, prides themselves on providing exciting new learning activities, capturing the children’s interest, and helping them develop positive attitudes to learning.  The children at this school settle quickly due to the highly nurturing environment and caring staff.

About the role:

-

-          Working within KS2

-          Supporting pupils on a group basis

-          Monday – Friday, term time only

-          Helping the teacher with both preparation of the work and managing the class environment

About you:

-          Excellent Numeracy & Literacy skills (GCSE)

-          Experience working with children

-          Good understanding of the national curriculum

-          A good understanding of the principles of childhood development

-          Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

-          Good behaviour management skills

-          Nurturing and compassionate nature
