Teaching Personnel are currently working with several schools in Liskeard and the surrounding villages, who are looking for full-time and part-time Teaching Assistants. We offer flexible hours to suit your lifestyle but ask that educators ensure they are available 8:30am – 3:30pm for a minimum of 2/3 days per week. We have several positions available in various provisions for both immediate start, and January start.
We are looking for educators who have a minimum of grade C and above in English, Maths and Science. Educators should have attributes including professionalism, and the ability to support the teacher within the classroom setting, across varied lessons.
Applicants with previous experience in roles such as Youth Work, Care Work and Support Work are encouraged to get in touch, as these roles frequently have skills which are transferrable to a classroom environment.
Individuals will need to have a Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service prior to being placed in a school, however, assistance can be provided with this during the registration process. Knowledge of policies including Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Equal Opportunities, and Teaching and Learning is crucial to the role, therefore, candidates will be offered a two-week fully paid induction, where all training for the role will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
