Teaching Assistant Required for Immediate Start!

We are working with a large SEN setting in the Keighley area, which urgently requires a Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting children with a wide range of SEN diagnoses. The role will focus on working with children who have complex and varying needs, offering both emotional and practical support to ensure they thrive in an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Your key responsibilities will include providing 1:1 support for pupils with high needs, as well as assisting across the wider classroom to manage behaviour and ensure all pupils meet their developmental goals. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children with SEN.

The Role:

  • You will work from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only.
  • This is a long-term role in a well-regarded SEN setting in Keighley.
  • Your role will include providing 1:1 support for pupils with emotional and behavioural needs, helping them settle into the learning environment and achieve their full potential.
  • The position involves assisting with personal care and mobility for those who need it.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure all pupils are supported in meeting their educational and developmental goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN or a background in care.
  • Ability to work 5 days a week. For those requiring flexible working, get in touch to discuss potential options.
  • Due to the location, you will need access to a car or suitable transport arrangements.
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness to apply for a Child Workforce DBS.
  • Must be a UK resident.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
