Location: Hull, West Yorkshire

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Classroom Support: Assist teachers by supporting students with one-to-one and small group activities.
• Lesson Preparation: Help with lesson planning and preparation to meet students' learning objectives.
• Targeted Interventions: Deliver focused interventions to support student progress, including implementing personalised learning plans.
• Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families, contributing to a welcoming and inclusive school environment.
• School Engagement: Actively engage with the school community, promoting its ethos and strengthening relationships with children, staff, and families.
• Student Progress Tracking: Monitor and record student progress, effectively communicating insights with staff and parents.
• Adaptability: Quickly adjust to various school settings, building rapport with students and colleagues across different environments.
• Safeguarding: Uphold safeguarding policies to ensure a secure and supportive learning environment for all students.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational setting is preferred.
• Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, are advantageous but not essential.
