Teaching Personnel is partnering with a well-regarded Primary School in Hastings to find a dedicated and skilled Teaching Assistant to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

· Classroom Support: Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery, providing essential support to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience.

· Student Assistance: Offer one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them with their academic tasks and personal development.

· Behaviour Management: Assist in maintaining a positive classroom environment and managing student behaviour.

· Individualised Support: Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).

· Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress, communicating effectively with teachers and parents.

· Resource Development: Help prepare and organise educational resources and classroom materials.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the UK national curriculum.

· SEN Experience: Experience working with st

udents with special educational needs is highly desirable.

· Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with children, teachers, and parents.

· Proactive Approach: Ability to use initiative and work independently while being a cooperative team member.
