ADHD Teaching assistant wanted in Ealing!

Location: Ealing

Role: ADHD Teaching Assistant

A full-time role, with the potential to stay on permanently

An immediate start

Pay: £85 - £90 a day (paid on a weekly basis)

 

1)      Summary of the School

This primary school is a 3-form entry primary school in the Ealing area of London, serving a diverse community. The school is a very successful school with a range of facilities to support both students and staff in their development. The school is looking for new members to work with their school in giving their students a productive and positive learning experience.

 

2)      Breakdown of job role

The Role

1)      Support Teachers in planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons

2)      KS1 and KS2 support across all subjects

3)      Keen to get involved with all areas including after school clubs, music, or cooking

4)      Support children 1:1 (if necessary)

5)      Working with students who have ADHD

6)      Confident and show initiative

7)      Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with staff and students

8)      5 days a week

  

3) Essential requirements/training/qualifications

  • • A passionate Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with children with additional needs – to work within the school and its SEN unit, and children with ADHD.
  • • Flexible and be able to work as part of a team to improve the outcomes for pupils.
  • • Able to plan and deliver a range of interventions for pupils to support their academic and emotional wellbeing.
  • • Actively engaged in improving their own skills through seeking constructive feedback.

 

4) Locality of the school

The school is located in Greenford in the borough of Ealing, a short walk away from Perivale station so easily accessible by train, with bus routes also nearby. The school also has a staff car park, with some spaces available.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
