Teaching Assistant
Durham (Full Time)
£425 - £500 per week (pay dependant on experience and qualifications)
October 2024 - Temporary Contract
About the role
An Outstanding Primary School based in the Durham (near the City Centre) are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support their Key Stage 2 pupils with Interventions on a full time basis.
- Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30 to 15:30
- Full time/long term role starting from September 2023 (ongoing)
- Working closely with small groups of pupils supporting their Literacy and Numeracy and ensuring they are not falling behind
- Liaising with the Class Teacher and other professionals to enhance pupil learning

Requirements
To be considered for the role you must:
- Must have enhanced DBS registered on update service or be willing to go through DBS process if do not already hold certificate
- Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Experience working with children or young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
