Teaching Assistant
Job description

The role is to support a class of year 2 pupils on a general cover basis. Your main duties will include: carrying out interventions including phonics, supporting children on a 1:1 basis, covering lunch time duties and supporting the class teacher with delivering lessons.
The successful candidate will have:
- Have previous experience of working with children,
- Previous experience of working as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essential,
- Be passionate and enthusiastic to work with pupils within the school and enhance their learning.
- Must have experience of working with pupils and will have had experience of working within the education sector and with multi-agencies.
- Will be proactive and eager to carry out responsibilities.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £49, plus an annual subscription fee of £16 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
