Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teaching Assistant to carry out a 1:1 role. The school is a mainstream primary school based in Barton Hill, Bristol. The position is full-time, term time only starting in September 2024 for the whole academic year.

As this is a one to one role, educators with experience or qualifications in areas such as Makaton, Phonics or Team Teach will be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Be passionate and enthusiastic to work with pupils within the school and enhance their learning.
  • Must have experience of working with pupils and will have had experience of working within the education sector.
  • Will be proactive and eager to carry out responsibilities.
  • Will have experience working with children in another capacity such as sports coaching or a support worker

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
