Teaching Personnel are looking for SEN specialist Primary Teaching Assistants. Your role will entail you to work on a 1:1 basis with children engaging them socially whilst maintaining a strong relationship and encouraging their academic development.
You will be supporting children inside the classroom as well as delivering small group and one to one intervention sessions. You will be working closely with the children, parents and other professionals, observing the child’s development and offering new initiatives that inspire them to progress further.
To be successful for this role, you will have experience working with children within a school or alternative provision. However, we would like to hear from people with experience working within the following sectors or similar would be relevant:
- Youth Work
- Support Work
- Sports Coach
- Psychology
The role is to start in September 2024 and will be full-time for the whole of the academic year. Other opportunities are available so please get in touch if you are looking for a similar role but different working hours.
In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
