Full-Time Teaching Assistant (TA) – Special Educational Needs (SEN) School – Bournemouth

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team at a well-established SEN school in Bournemouth. As a TA, you will provide vital support to students with a range of learning needs, helping them to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students on a 1:1 or small group basis, assisting with learning activities and ensuring engagement
- Help students with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks where required
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning experiences
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team
- Work closely with parents and other professionals to support the holistic development of students
About You:
- Previous experience in supporting students with SEN is desirable but not essential
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive attitude with a strong desire to support children’s individual learning needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent) are an advantage, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
