Teaching Assistant Job - Bournemouth

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring they have the best possible educational experience.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere, promoting student independence and confidence.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within an SEN setting, is desirable.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to working with children with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to making a positive impact on students' educational journeys.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
