Job Title: Teaching Assistant

£12.90 - £13.50 Per hour
Job Duties:
1. Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and activities
2. Assisting students with their learning and educational needs
3. Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
4. Providing one-to-one support for students who require additional assistance
5. Assisting with classroom management and behaviour monitoring
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (preferred)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development and learning processes
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, temporary position
- Work within a school setting under the guidance of teaching staff
- May involve supporting students with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
