Teaching Personnel is looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming school in Amesbury. This full-time position is ideal for an individual passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to SEN students, assisting them with classroom tasks, social skills, and personal development.
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement individualized learning plans and monitor student progress.
- Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure cohesive support and a positive learning experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Prior experience working with SEN students, ideally in a teaching assistant or similar support role.
- Strong understanding of SEN practices, with a patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to individual student needs.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo the check).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
