Location: Accrington, Lancashire
Start Date: February Half-Term 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (Potential for Extension)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Are you a skilled and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and welcoming school environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join a well-regarded secondary school in Accrington, starting immediately after February half-term.
The Role
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality education across various subjects and key stages.
- Work closely with students, including those with additional learning needs, to help them achieve their potential.
- Deliver small group interventions and one-to-one support where required.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment to support students' academic and personal development.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working within a secondary school setting is desirable.
- A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
