Teaching Assistant – Level 2 (Temporary to Permanent Opportunity)
Are you passionate about education and looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in the Accrington area. This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Start date: Ideally ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students across a range of subjects, helping them to achieve their full potential
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support where needed
- Help to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Support students with additional learning needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young people in an educational setting
- A relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- A patient, caring, and motivated individual who can engage well with students
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A commitment to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
