Job description

An opportunity to work within the Science department of a large secondary school in Sheffield supporting KS3/4 in their development.

  • Full-time Science teacher
  • Start Date – Janaury 2025 
  • Paid to scale point (£31,000 - £43,685)
  • Must hold subject specific qualifications within science.

Our client is a secondary school in the Sheffield district with over 950 pupils on roll, the school is easily accessible.

The opportunity is open to both experienced and newly qualified science teachers are urged to apply for this position.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3/4 with full planning and marking responsibilities.
  • Planning, prepping and delivery science lessons to meet the differing needs of pupils with various levels of learning.
  • Attending parents evening and department meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
