Job description

Position: Performing Arts Teacher

Location: Northampton

Are you passionate about the performing arts? Do you have the talent and enthusiasm to inspire the next generation of actors, musicians, and dancers? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Performing Arts Teacher to join our vibrant community working in Secondary schools in and around Northampton!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging curriculum for drama, music, and dance classes.
  • Inspire students through innovative teaching methods and performances.
  • Organize and direct school productions, concerts, and showcases.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and activities.

Requirements

  Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts, Music, Drama, or a related field.

  Teaching certification and experience in secondary education preferred.

  Strong knowledge and passion for drama, music, and dance.

  Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.

  A commitment to fostering creativity and a love for the arts.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
