Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
- Promote a positive attitude towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
- Organise and oversee extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and competitions.
- Encourage student participation in physical activities and support their development in various sports.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during PE classes and activities.
- Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching PE across different key stages.
- A passion for sports and physical activity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
