Job description

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Teacher of Music for a secondary school in Basingstoke, beginning in January 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Music teacher to inspire students and foster a love of music across the curriculum.

Role Overview:

  • Teach Music across Key Stage 3 and 4 to students with varying levels of musical ability.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, creative lessons that encourage students’ musical growth and appreciation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts department to support students in performances, concerts, and extracurricular activities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Applications are encouraged from ECTs qualifying this year as well as unqualified teachers with a strong background in Music.
  • Passion for Music and dedication to inspiring students through creative teaching.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
