Teaching Personnel is seeking a dynamic and motivated Teacher of English to join a well-established secondary school in Basingstoke. This full-time role is set to begin in November 2024, offering the opportunity to teach English across the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging and creative English lessons to students of varying abilities at KS3 and KS4.
- Student Development: Provide tailored support to help students achieve their full potential in English, fostering a love for reading, writing, and communication.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the department to create a cohesive and effective learning environment that encourages student participation and progress.
- Assessment and Feedback: Monitor student progress through regular assessments, offering constructive feedback to aid their development.
- Professional Growth: Take part in continuous professional development opportunities offered by the school to enhance teaching practices and student engagement.
Who Should Apply?
- Qualified English teachers with experience in delivering the curriculum at the secondary level.
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and unqualified teachers with relevant experience or enthusiasm for teaching English are encouraged to apply.
