Salary: Long term role paid to scale (M1-M6)

Role Overview:
As an SEN Teacher at [School Name], you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized education to students with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with other professionals, parents, and carers to create an inclusive learning environment that supports the academic, emotional, and social development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons for students with special educational needs.
- Develop and implement personalized learning strategies, including Individual Education Plans (EHCPs).
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment to support students’ confidence and self-esteem.
- Work closely with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress.
- Support students in their social and emotional development, promoting independence and life skills.
- Ensure that students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Knowledge of a variety of SEN, including autism, dyslexia, ADHD.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach to teaching.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
