We are currently searching for a teacher specifically to educate our Key Stage 2 pupils. The successful candidate will be taking on a class of around 25 pupils, the pupils have varying abilities however you will be supported by Teaching Assistants that are familiar with the pupils and school procedures. The appointed practitioner will ideally be positive, enthusiastic, and driven. They will be able to adapt to challenges that occur throughout the school day and have a hard-working approach.

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, we require you to:

  • Plan engaging and structured lessons, from a sound knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • Implement positive behaviour management within the classroom.
  • Address gaps in learning and follow school strategies to implement within your lesson plans.
  • Be able to build positive relationships with pupils to ensure they feel confident in the classroom.
  • Adapt to ever changing circumstances.
  • Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
