Teaching Personnel are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in central Bristol.
Main Duties:
- Provide academic and social support to students with SEN
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans for SEN students
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Facilitate small group interventions
The ideal Learning Mentor has:
- Experience working with children or young people
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and support techniques
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- An empathetic, calm and patient manner

Here are some important details about the position:
- Location: BS5
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
- Start Date: September
- Contract: Permanent contracts available after an initial trial period

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
